Elementary School Workshop

Workshops are a big part of the Shine On! Tohoku Childrens Support – Smile Ambassador Program. Not only do they introduce new skills which are building blocks for confidence and self respect, they give kids permission to be kids again – to play and to have fun. This a 6th grade class in Iwate. Their teacher broke down crying and she said since the disaster her students hadn’t expressed any joy or had any fun until our visit.
